Abstract
ENFETs were assembled by coimmobilizing peroxidase and glucose oxidase or lactate oxidase onto a new transducer type, the fluoride ion sensitive field effect transistor. These ENFETs for glucose or lactate are based on the peroxidase-catalyzed reaction liberating fluoride ions from organo-fluoro compounds in the presence of hydrogen peroxide which was produced by the coupled oxidase reactions. The resulting fluoride ion concentrations were measured potentiometrically by the fluoride ion sensitive FETs. The output voltages showed a linear relationship to the logarithm of analyte concentration. Functional parameters of the pF-FE-based bio-sensors are given. Keywords
