Abstract
A technique, which utilized excised nondisinfested telial columns of C. fusiforme, was developed to deliver contaminant-free basidiospores to areas approximately 1.4 mm in diameter. The spores germinated and oaccasionally produced mycelia on modified Gresshoff and Doy medium 1. Pinus taeda seedlings also were infected with basidiospores in vitro.
