Abstract
Some acylhydrazine derived furanyl and thienyl ONO and SNO donor Schiff base ligands and their Co(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, magnetic moments, molar conductances, and spectroscopic (electronic, IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR) data. All of the ligands function as tridentates and the deprotonated enolic form is preferred in the coordination. Keywords
