Abstract
The nitrido-chloro complexes X[MNCl4] (M = Mo, W; X = NMe4, AsPh4) were prepared by the reaction of NMe4Cl and AsPh4Cl with MoNCl3 and WNCl3, respectively. The complexes were characterised by their IR spectra; they contain M=N-triple bonds.
