Abstract
Mycobacterium kansasii is a relatively common cause of nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary infection. Septic arthritis caused by Mycobacterium kansasii , on the other hand, is rare. Reported here for the first time is the case of an 82-year-old patient with an infection of a prosthetic knee joint with Mycobacterium kansasii .Keywords
