Abstract
A few soil, basal bark and foliar applied chemicals caused good control of small winged elm (Ulmus alata) trees but many did not. However, basal injection treatments appeared to be very promising. Undiluted injected herbicides were very effective. Picloram (4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid) and 2,4,5-T (2,4,5-trichloro-phenoxyacetic acid) generally gave best results with most treatment methods. Injected undiluted amino salts were superior to ester formulations. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
