Abstract
Cementum of human and seal teeth was separated from dentin by microdissection. Inorganic Ca + Mg and P were determined by chemical analysis of the cementum and dentin samples. It was higher in the dentin of human teeth and seal canines than in cementum of the same teeth. It was higher in cervical cementum from individuals more than fifty years of age (with no periodontal disease). A gradual increase (with increasing age of the tooth), was found in the mineral content of apical dentin of human teeth. Keywords
