Abstract
Electric monopole (E0) transitions between low lying levels in Ru102, populated in the decay of Rh102, have been investigated by means of conversion-electron and γ-ray spectroscopy. Values or upper limits for the ratio X(E0/E2) of E0 to E2 reduced transition probabilities have been derived for the transitions from the 03+ and 02+ to the 01+ and 21+ states and for the 22+→21+ transition. The experimental results are discussed in the frame of a schematic interacting boson model. Keywords
