Abstract
Dyson’s boson expansion theory is known to allow one to calculate eigenenergies much easier than does the Hermitian boson expansion theory. New methods of calculating transition probabilities with the Dyson theory have also been developed recently. Here we show that these new methods can further be extended so as to give eigenstates of the Hermitian problem, via a very simple numerical procedure, by first obtaining Dyson’s eigenstates. Keywords
