Zur Frage der Frühjahrs- und Herbstdisposition des gastroduodenalen Ulkus

Abstract
Die monatliche und jahreszeitliche Verteilung von 882 endoskopisch nachgewiesenen frischen Ulcera ventriculi und duodeni der Jahre 1978/79 und 1980 wurde untersucht. Eine jahreszeitliche Häufung der Ulkusschübe konnte nicht festgestellt werden. Die Ulkuskrankheit verläuft zwar periodisch, ist aber nicht saisongebunden. Der häufig behauptete Frühjahrs- und Herbstgipfel der Ulkusschübe muß bezweifelt werden. The monthly and seasonal distribution of 882 endoscopically verified recent ulcers of the stomach and the duodenum of the years 1978/79 and 1980 was investigated. There was no seasonal clustering of ulcer recurrences. Ulcers do occur periodically, however there is no seasonal dependency. The frequently assumed spring and autumn peaks of ulcer exacerbations seem questionable.
