Abstract
This paper describes a method of correcting γ-ray doses from linear radium sources for apparent absorption in tissue. The tissue correction factors which have been calculated are based on experimental measurements by Wootton et al. (1954). They can be used with any of the dose tables or graphs which have been published for linear radium sources. Keywords
