The Validity of the Subtests of 1976 Edition of the Metropolitan Readiness Tests

Abstract
Significant positive correlations, with one exception, between ratings of kindergarten pupils by their teachers in six readiness areas and pupil raw scores suggested the concurrent validity of the five subtests of the 1976 edition of the Metropolitan Readiness Tests (MRT), Level II, Form P. Correlations between MRT subtest scores and teachers' ratings of pupil readiness ranged from .235 to .745.
