Abstract
A description of the structural changes occurring in the nephrons as revealed by histological procedures and by microdissection is correlated with the physiological disturbances and clinical manifestations of the disease. The relation of the renal disturbances to those commonly associated with ischemic tubular necrosis is examined. Keywords
