Abstract
Seven distinct factor score procedures for constructing linear composites are compared in a multifactor example. The procedures are compared with respect to validity, invalidity, omega reliability, correlatedness, and linear relationships with external variables. Data are from a national sample taken by the Commission on Obscenity and Pornography. Advantages and disadvantages of the various procedures are indicatedKeywords
