Abstract
Present study reports the structure determination of the rhombohedral form of Fe₂ (SO₄)₃. Space group is R[-3]. Lattice constants are : a = 8.229 Å, c = 22.177 Å. This form is isotypic with sulfates : M[III]₂ (SO₄)₃, M[III] = Al, Cr, Ga, V ; M[II] Sn (SO₄)₃, M[II] = Mg, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd, and phosphates M[V]Ti (PO₄)₃, M[V] = Nb, Sb, Ta ; NbGe (PO₄)₃. The structure of Fe₂ (SO₄)₃ is similar to rhombehedral structure of NaZr₂ (PO₄)₃.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
