Abstract
Erstmalig gelang es, Thiophenol mit reduzierenden Zuckern unter Bildung von Thioglykosiden und Zucker‐mercaptalen umzusetzen. Die Kondensation erfolgte leicht mittels einer konz. salzsauren Lösung von Zinkchlorid. — Zur Darstellung der für die Zucker‐mercaptal‐Bildung notwendigen Mercaptane wird eine einfache Methode, alkalische Hydrolyse der entsprechenden Thiuronium‐salze, beschrieben. — Die Di‐n‐hexyl‐, Di‐n‐heptyl‐, Dekamethylen‐ und Bis‐[p‐chlor‐benzyl]‐mercaptale von D‐Galaktose und L‐Rhamnose wurden dargestellt.Keywords
