Abstract
Young leaves of Katanchoë pinnata Persoon fix CO2 by the C3 pathway while older leaves fix CO2 by the Crassulacean acid metabolism pathway. The switchover from one system to the other is associated with the disappearence of an inclusion body in the chloroplasts of young leaves. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
