Abstract
Chiral 1,2-dihydroxyoctadecane (C16H33CH(OH)CH2OH) self-assembled on graphite surface was observed by STM and the molecular patterns obtained were interpreted by homochiral association of constituent molecules at hydroxyl groups.Keywords
