Latent inhibition in human eyelid conditioning.

Abstract
78 male undergraduates participated in an eyelid conditioning experiment. A group receiving 20 nonreinforced preexposures of the to-be-conditional stimulus exhibited a decrement in conditioning performance compared to groups that received either no CS preexposure or 20 preexposures to a stimulus distinct from that used in acquisition. No effects on extinction performance were noted. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
