Abstract
A change in the dissolving medium, or in the ratio of the 2 chlorophyll components, may introduce an appreciable skewness in the absorption curve of chlorophyll in the red portion of the spectrum, and cause error in the location of the maximum. Because these observations are relevant to a consideration of Kundt''s rule, his original statement has been re-examined. The rule has no general significance, nor specific applicability to chlorophyll. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
