Abstract
Hollow carbon spheres (50–100 nm) have been synthesized by a self-assembly approach using hexachlorobenzene and Na. NaCl which generated during the reaction has been successfully exploited as a template for the direct synthesis of porous carbon materials, which can be subsequently removed from carbon product by annealing above 1400 °C.Keywords
