Abstract
The Kubo formulae, derived in a previous paper (Brand et al., 1979), are used to give a microscopic evaluation of the dissipative transport parameters of 3He in the A- and B-phase in a simple relaxation time approximation. The relevant current-current correlation functions are evaluated by using BCS-Green functions, renormalised for strong coupling and collision effects. It is found that the unknown renormalisation function enters all transport coefficients in the same way. For further evaluation it is parametrised by a collision time. Comparison with experiment is made for the shear viscosity as a function of temperature, by adjusting one fit parameter. A prediction for the thermal conductivity and for the longitudinal NMR width in the B-phase is then possible without further fit parameters. Keywords
