Abstract
The author believes that he has further strengthened his theory of transmissible autolysis by observations of mutations of different types of B. coli and of a spontaneous lysogenic power with B. coli, staphylococci and B. pyocyaneus. Smooth and rough types of B. coli in a single species may react with such pathological exaggeration as to cause destruction of the bacteria and bacteriophagy. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
