Abstract
Formaldehyde inhibited the succinic acid, choline, L-proline, and sarcosine oxidases in liver homogenates. In equal concns. it had no effect on the amine and cytochrome oxidases of liver or the D-amino oxidase of kidney. The prior addition of the substrate protected the enzymes for a short period of time. Keywords
