Abstract
The spin wave dispersion relation has been measured in the B2 structure of Fe3Al up to the frequency nu =9 THz. The dispersion relation is found to be isotropic with a stiffness constant D=168+or-5 meV AA2. This result is compared with the value D=139+or-6 meV AA2 in the ordered DO3 structure and with theoretical values for both structures. Keywords
