Abstract
Regis is an environment for constructing distributedprograms and systems. A characteristic of Regisprograms is separation of structure from algorithm, often referred to as the `software integrated circuit'approach to program construction. Programs consistof components connected by links. Components are oftwo types: they may be primitive, or composed fromother components. Primitive components in Regisare single-threaded C++ objects and their compositionsare described in the structural...Keywords
