Abstract
The internal laws of logic of the genetic code were studied. If selection against the occurrence of terminators is accepted as a major hypothesis this leads to the optimization of theoretical code resistance to nonsense effects. Depending on how the notion of vocabulary extension is envisaged, several methods exist. One of them is presented here for the simplest doublet codes.
