Abstract
• Kayser-Fleischer rings were observed in a 14-year-old boy with progressive liver disease. Laboratory data supported a diagnosis of hepatolenticular degeneration (Wilson's disease). Therapy with chelating agents was initiated, but discontinued because of side reactions. Successful liver homotransplantation was performed. The Kayser-Fleischer rings gradually faded and had completely disappeared by six years postoperatively. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
