Abstract
Using surviving rabbit''s intestine, glucose diffused more slowly from the lumen into Ca-free than into Ca-containing outer fluids. In the former the action was physical, in the latter partly selective. The presence of Ca ions is necessary for selective action of the intestinal wall toward sugar in the lumen. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
