Abstract
This research explored the role of prognostic expectations in outcome of brief therapy for 47 recipients of community mental health services. Contrary to previous research, correlational analyses indicated that generally lower expectations of improvement were associated with more favorable outcomes. These data further intimate the complexity of the clients' expectancy. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
