Mycotypha dichotoma is not a peculiar Phycomycete, but belongs to an unnamed form genus that occupies a position near Oedocephalum, Botrytis and Rhinotrichum, among the Moniliaceae. That Mycotypha and Microtypha may be identical seems probable.[long dash]F. A. Wolf.
