Abstract
Most distorted-waves direct-reaction calculations rely upon a "zero-range approximation." In the present article some of the errors caused by this approximation are discussed, and a general method suitable for numerical computation is described which does not use this approximation. Applications to stripping and knock-on reactions are described in detail. Keywords
