DISTRIBUTION AND EXCRETION OF METHOHEXITONE IN MAN: A Study using Gas and Thin Layer Chromatography

Abstract
Sensitive techniques for the measurement of small quantities of methohexitone are described. Blood and fat levels have been measured following the administration of clinical doses of methohexitone. Less than 1 per cent of an administered dose of the drug was found in bile and urine. Evidence was obtained suggesting the presence of two or more metabolites of methohexitone in urine, but the quantities obtained were too small to permit positive identification.
