A Clinical Performance Evaluation Tool for a Process Oriented Nursing Curriculum

Abstract
This article describes the process of developing and implementing a formative and summative clinical evaluation tool to assess undergraduate nursing students' ability to use the nursing process in a variety of health care settings. The authors believe that an evaluation mechanism which can be used for multiple clinical practicums may be helpful to other nursing curricula that are process-oriented.
