Abstract
The binding-energy data of the -shell hypernuclei and the -proton scattering data are analyzed with -nucleon potentials which have a hard core and an attractive part of Yukawa shape. By comparing the results with those obtained in a previous investigation where the attractive part was assumed to be of exponential shape, it is concluded that to analyze these experimental data, the choice of the spatial form for the attractive part is not a critical one.
