Abstract
An approximate analytic solution of the Fokker-Planck equation describing the effect of thermal fluctuations on the dc Josephson voltage which is valid for finite capacitance of the junction is obtained. It is shown that our solution should be applicable in the important region of experimental interest. Keywords
