Abstract
A DNA hypervariable polymorphism associated with the human immunoglobulin JH gene locus on chromosome 14 is described. Its potential applications include the distinguishing of cells as host or donor in a transplantation situation as well as characterisation of immunoglobulin gene rearrangements. Keywords
