Abstract
Extension of the recently proposed equation of state of hard spheres to the HS mixtures and to systems of hard nonspherical bodies is given in the first part. Employing the SPT expression for the residual chemical potential a new set of equations of state is formulated for hard body fluids in the second part. Comparisons based on the virial coefficients and compressibility factors reveal high accuracy of these equations in describing the P-V-T behaviour of hard sphere fluids. The equations of the latter set describe accurately also the system of fused hard sphere models. Keywords
