Abstract
EXCHANGE transfusion has become a rather widely used procedure in the treatment of erythroblastosis fetalis, though it has by no means achieved universal acceptance. A number of technics have been described.1 2 3 Recent studies4 , 5 have clearly demonstrated the value of this procedure in the treatment of erythroblastotic infants, particularly in the prevention of kernicterus.
