Abstract
Daily values of pressure, wind velocity and dewpoint at various atmospheric levels between the surface and 300 mb are used to analyse the wind and humidity conditions which prevailed over Durban during 1967. Total, advective (mean) and eddy moisture transfers are computed as well as vertically integrated values of the transfers and of the specific humidity. The vapour content of the air and the total and eddy transnort of vapour are discussed with particular reference to January and July conditions. The total transport of vapour for SW and NE lower-level winds during January and July is also examined. Keywords
