Abstract
Overactive bladder is a syndrome characterized by urinary urgency, with or without urgency urinary incontinence, usually with increased micturition frequency during the day and at night (ie, nocturia).1 An estimated 10 million men 40 years or older have symptoms consistent with overactive bladder.2 Overactive bladder symptoms are often attributed to detrusor overactivity, a condition characterized by involuntary detrusor contractions during bladder filling.1Keywords
