Precompound limits of linear momentum transfer in heavy ion reactions

Abstract
The Boltzmann master equation is used to predict linear momentum transfer for reactions of with at lab energies of 8.8 to 100 MeV/nucleon. Results are in excellent agreement with experimental measurements at energies up to 19.6 MeV/nucleon.
