Abstract
The effect of a spatially varying optical‐absorption coefficient on the photoacoustic signal of a solid sample is discussed. A procedure is described for calculating the spatial variation of the optical‐absorption function from the frequency dependence of the photoacoustic signal. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
