Abstract
This is a battery powered, portable device weighing 32 kg which produces rhythmical sternal pressure for cardiac resuscitation, at a fixed rate of 1 stroke per second, and with constant but adjustable force and depth of compression. The use of the chest compressor and of a modified synchromized ventilator are described for dog and man.Keywords
