Abstract
After the examination of two competing frameworks for the study of organizational effectiveness, ageneral model of school effectiveness is proposed. This multidimensional perspective was operationalized and explored with data from a sample of secondary schools in a single state. The empirical analysis supported the framework, and suggestions for further refinements were made.Keywords
