Abstract
Infants with phocomelia, amelia, and alimentary abnormalities are born to 2 women who received 50 mg thalidomide daily for several weeks during the 5th to 8th week after the last normal menstrual period. The question is raised whether or not similar anomalies might occur in comparable circumstances after the administration of other glutarimide derivatives (glutethimide, aminoglutethimide, and bemegride) now in clinical use. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
