Single Sources in Class II PSD Areas

Abstract
Many states will be examining the question of increment allocation and reclassification of regions when considering PSD policies. Several sources with a full year of meteorological data were modeled and information was obtained which could help a state anticipate future constraints from the Class II PSD increments. The results indicate that the Class II constraints may not be as binding as expected. However, questions do arise as to receptor location and buffer distances. Results were obtained by first using a modified version of RAMR and then verifying with RAMR.
