Discordant Tc-99m Human Immunoglobulin and ln-111 White Cell Scans in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Abstract
The authors present three cases in which simultaneous studies were performed to investigate inflammatory bowel disease. Each patient was injected with Tc-99m HIG and ln-111 labeled white cells. Tc-99m HIG demonstrated no similarity to the ln-111 white cell images, therefore limiting its use in the detection of inflammatory bowel disease.
