Study ofψ(2S)decays toXJ/ψ

Abstract
Using J/ψμ+μ decays from a sample of approximately 4×106 ψ(2S) events collected with the BESI detector, the branching fractions of ψ(2S)ηJ/ψ, π0π0J/ψ, and anything J/ψ normalized to that of ψ(2S)π+πJ/ψ are measured. The results are B(ψ(2S)ηJ/ψ)/B(ψ(2S)π+πJ/ψ)=0.098±0.005±0.010, B(ψ(2S)π0π0J/ψ)/B(ψ(2S)π+πJ/ψ)=0.570±0.009±0.026, and B(ψ(2S)anythingJ/ψ)/B(ψ(2S)π+πJ/ψ)=1.867±0.026±0.055.
