Structural transformations in poly‐L‐hydroxyproline and poly‐o‐acetyl‐L‐hydroxyproline

Abstract
The structural modifications in poly‐L‐hydroxyproline and poly‐O‐acetyl‐L‐hydroxyproline as revealed by x‐ray diffraction and optical activity studies are discussed. Like the proline polymer these also exhibit polymorphism. The possible structures of the various forms in relation to the various forms of poly‐L‐proline are also mentioned.
